We all know I love Dave Matthews Band.

Let's face it, Dave makes some faces while singing.

Kade was cracking me up when we watched this Dave dvd and he joined in.

I love that Add finds the mike to get in on the action.

I wonder if we can sneak them into the show in August?

pink partytime

We celebrated Add's birthday,

Pink was definitely the theme of the night.

Grapefruit Izzes, Lemonade, balloons, garland, cupcakes.

We loaded the kids up with candy jewelry and lipstick aka chapstick

It made me laugh to see the boys using it all.  

After all the friends left (some without pants) the cousins hung out for a show.

I love that they are all little buddies. 

It was so nice to have our home filled 

with friends and family we love to hang out with. 

The other day at work we were talking 

about Bobby Flay making smores with homemade marshmallows.  

I couldn't stop thinking about it.  

I called Ash and got her recipe 

and made the marshmallows the next morning.

Add loved licking the sticky bowl.

 

I made smores for Jackie and I in the oven.

I thought they were pretty good, 

except I do love the toastedness of doing it over a campfire.

2 already?  holy cow.

2. Vacuum - check
3. Wash front glass door - check

4. Go to Bed Bath and Beyond for Hercules Hooks - check

5. Hang mirror that's been in garage for 1 year - check

6. Make Add birthday favors - working on it

7. Re clean glass door that has dog slobber on it

8. Play soccer in back yard w/Kade - check

9. Return movie to Redbox w/o watching it - check

10. Wish Ethan were coming home today. - 

check and double check

a day

some days are full of running around.

today was one of those days.

1.  take Kade to preschool

2. home to pick up package & Add's bebe

3. post office

4. stop by the Porch on Main

5. recycle center = $6.14 for 2 bags of cans and 5 billion metal hangers

6. back home/shower

7. pick up Kade at school

8. stop for oranges sold by a guy on the corner 

9. Joann's - return buckets that are too small for project

10. Costco - rotisserie chicken, swap out contacts, soccer balls for kids

11. home/start dinner (Jackie arrives)

12. Walmart - last minute dinner ingredients, soccer supplies and hair supplies 

(look Nan!  a caboodle!  I always wanted one)

12. home - eat (Steph arrives)

13.  Dairy Queen - we needed a treat

Now I am home and I am not leaving!

I'm pretty sure I was trying to keep busy 

so I wouldn't miss my canoeing man.

It didn't really work.

We are going to watch 27 Dresses and then I'm going to bed.

This past weekend was so fun 

with Rich, Ash, Crewe and Dayne in town.

I'll let Ash tell all about it.

Sunday morning we had a Mother's Day breakfast

 with Aaron/Nan, Rich/Ash and Eric/Jackie plus all the kids.  

I really love having tons of people over and setting the table.

It was such a nice day.  

Ethan gave me a cute card

 and a few coupons to pick out somethings I've been eyeing.

Both of my brothers gave me cards. 

 I love that they thought of me on Mother's Day. 

(or maybe their spouses did)

It was a sunny day 

and I enjoyed sitting by the flowers 

compliments of Dane and Jody.

I am grateful for all the love in my life.
